In the summer we have access to all of the Mother Nature’s gifts, which means it is the right time to include a lot of fresh and healthy ingredients in your diet.

If you’re looking for something easy to prepare, that still tastes delicious and will give you the energy for the whole day, then you’re in the right place. It’s the time to swap your sugary treats for a healthier alternative, packed with many vitamins and protein- a healthy fruit smoothie.

What’s good about smoothies? They can be your breakfast-to-go, giving you a healthy kick in the morning, a sweet treat after dinner, or a good source of protein for gym enthusiasts. The options are endless.

There are thousands of healthy and simple smoothie recipes online, but I thought I will put together 10 of my favorites will help you start your day right. Get ready for some fruit indulgence!

1. Strawberry, Banana & Pineapple Smoothie

Benefits: This is a proper immunity booster and a Vitamin C bomb. Manganese present in bananas is extremely good for your skin, and together with a pineapple can aid indigestion. Strawberries regulate your blood sugar, decreasing the risk of diabetes and with their anti-inflammatory benefits, they are a great weapon against allergies.

• 1 cup strawberries
• ½ cup pineapple chunks
• 1 banana
• 2 cups orange juice (freshly squeezed or cold pressed)
